Experience And Passions

During law school, Attorney Dorion gained valuable litigation experience, and further developed her interests in the areas of personal injury law, family law, and criminal law. She worked as a Family Law Advocate for the Maine Volunteer Lawyer’s Project, and served as a student attorney at the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic, where she represented clients in contentious family law matters, guardianship probate matters, and protection from abuse and harassment cases in Maine District Court. Attorney Dorion was employed as a student attorney prosecutor for the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office, gaining substantial court room experience with the Unified Criminal Docket, and developing insight into how cases progress through the criminal justice system. After being admitted to the Maine Bar, she worked as an associate attorney at a general practice firm, where she represented clients facing criminal charges, individuals involved in family matters, and assisted clients in a wide array of civil practice areas including personal injury law, and landlord/tenant law. Utilizing these collective experiences, Attorney Dorion started her own Gorham, Maine law practice which proudly serves residents of the greater Portland area.
